Our founder Hope made the conscious decision to design and manufacture her first MUTHA products in the USA. As we can continue to grow and expand our range of products, we are now manufacturing our products in the USA and France.

We only use the highest quality ingredients, which we encourage anyone who is pregnant or nursing to share with their primary healthcare provider for use direction.

It’s MUTHA nature. Pure, non-synthetic ingredients can soften or melt during transport and then re-solidify in room temperatures.

After opening, you’ve got half a year to MUTHA yourself with any MUTHA product that’s stored properly. Reminder: That means out of direct heat and sealed when not in use. If you do this, you’re set. The integrity, quality and performance of each product will not be compromised, whether or not the pure ingredients naturally lighten, darken, sour or sweeten. Here’s what you won’t find: aggressive synthetic preservatives. MUTHA f*ing ever.

Yes. We’re serious about caring for MUTHAs in the boldest and most considered ways - including more of what makes you feel your most free.

Everything except the MUTHA™ Body Butter which contains beeswax and is technically “beegan,” MUTHA™ Up All Night Eye which contains pearl powder, and MUTHA™ Cell Rejuvenating Essence which contains honey. Otherwise, we operate free of any animal-sourced ingredients or byproducts in an effort to care for you.

NO way. MUTHA taught us better than that.

We refuse to use animal-derived ingredients, with the above-mentioned exception of beeswax or honey and pearl powder.

MUTHA™ products are always formulated without: GMOs, phenoxyethanol, parabens, phthalates, talc, cyclic silicones, PEGs, ethoxylated ingredients, sulfates, denatured alcohol, GMO’s, petrolatum, petroleum jelly and mineral oil. Moreover, MUTHA™ looks to follow industry standards about Clean beauty established by Sephora and the likes of Credo Beauty. 

MUTHA™ only labels product organic when its been vendor certified to meet this designation. Sometimes it’s just that simple.

The beauty industry has no agreed-upon meaning for what natural means in relation to product claims.

MUTHA™ defines natural, naturally derived or of natural origin as: a formula crafted with ingredients that originated from either plant, mineral and/or animal sources that are physically or chemically processed into their extracted forms for safe use in cosmetics (e.g. steam distillation, cold extraction, bio-fermentation and many others).

Moreover, we calculate the percentage of Natural Origin present in our products using the ISO 16128 standard. 

There are oils from tree nuts in MUTHA™ products. This includes Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, and Coconut Oil. To MUTHA yourself best, we encourage MUTHAs who have nut allergies to consult a doctor/allergist prior to use.

We currently offer complimentary shipping on orders $35+ to fifty states within the United States. For orders under $35+ there will be a standard $5 shipping fee and for shipments going to Alaska and Hawaii there will be a $35 flat-rate shipping fee.

We currently ship to the U.S and Canada. We do not yet ship internationally but, we are working on the process to do so. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter to receive any new updates.
